On November 12, 2024, the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC), in partnership with the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Bank Al-Maghrib, organized a conference in Casablanca on the theme: “Launch of the Futures Market, a new structuring step in the transformation of market infrastructures at the service of the economy”.
The conference, held in the margins of the 3rd meeting of the Capital Market Committee (CMC), marks the effective launch of the Futures Market for financial instruments and the Clearinghouse. This is an important milestone in the development of the Moroccan capital market as a means of financing the economy.
The launch of the futures market and clearing house is part of the transformation of capital market infrastructures and their alignment with international standards in this field, in line with the orientations defined in the Terms and Conditions of the Stock Exchange concession.
